Finally. After over a year of cleaning, clearing, selling, packing, cleaning, clearing and packing some more, I have arrived in the new place I now call home. A sweet little studio cottage in Mill Valley, California. It has been a process of digging deep, asking myself “what do I reeeally want”, letting go of some stuff that was getting in my way, placing my ever present fear in my back seat, and trusting. Trusting that it was all going to be OK. Because in fact, I finally understood, at the root of my being, I was OK.
So here I am. As part of my venture into the new and unknown, I created a website with the help of the talented and patient Megan O’Brien. I am not technologically savvy, and my personal interests with the internet stop at Facebook, Hotmail, and Netflix. I hardly shop online, and dating online has been one big creepy bust. But, as I began to close my business that I had worked on for almost 10 years, cultivating an environment that offered what I felt was important in terms of health, lifestyle, and wellbeing; I saw the internet and a website as a means to answer the questions, “How can we stay connected? How can we continue the good work that had come into clear focus in our lives?”
This website will serve as a venue for me to offer my various types of training services and to share some thoughts, tips, and musings on the nitty gritty of what many of us are coming to find helps us just flat out feel better. You won’t find tips on how to lose 10 pounds in 10 days. Others claim they know how to do that, but I don’t. I apologize. But what I hope to provide are some ideas that help you think about, discover and unravel, the patterns and practices that serve you in feeling awesome, and the ones that simply make you feel less than desirable. Creating shifts, over time, to strike a sense of balance.
So that’s it. I will post regularly. Hopefully in an organized and useful way. We’ll see though. I’ve never done this before!
